The Importance of Storytelling.

My name is David Grant, but a lot of folks call me Sheepdog.  I have been in love with taking blank pages and transmuting them into worlds populated by the shadows of my imagination.  I’ve been doing it since I was seven years old, and over the years, I have written millions of words.  But like many artists, my most precious gift sometimes feels like a curse.

I’ve made films, web shows, comic books, plays, albums. . .  I have a ton of unproduced screenplays, lines of poetry, drafts for novels, unfinished collaborations. . .  When my teachers assigned a three page creative writing assignment, I would return the next day with a stack of single-spaced, front-and-back scrawling.  That is, until the school gave me a word count limit.  I have all of these stories inside of me, but. . . I have had trouble finding an audience.  This is my attempt at doing that.

But Wolf In Wool Tales is going to be more than that.  I want this to be a solace for other storytellers too.  So each month I will be creating writing prompts to get your creative juices flowing.  You don’t have to focus on the current one.  If you find one in the archives that moves your muse, start writing and share your stories with our community.
